![]() ![]() When Galo saves Lio, they command the trapped Burnish to assist them. ![]() After Kray reveals himself as Burnish and flings Galo's body away, he takes Lio and the core to where the promatech engine is. Both mechs are left frozen in place, with only Galo freezing. Shots are suddenly fired from the cannons. With one last push, Kray attempts to freeze the duo to death, resulting in one of Lio de Galon's hands tearing apart. Suddenly, Heris destroys the promatech engine, sending both mechs flying. They then rally themselves up and fight Kray with it. Lio once again listens and forms the tool. However, Galo claims the lack of a Matoi is what's preventing Kray's defeat. A long fight breaks out with Kray seemingly winning. As everyone else leaves, Kray converts the tower into a mech and attacks the duo, sending them into the city inside the Parnassus. Kray is left frustrated and decides to take matters into his own hands. Thus, they attempt to dig into the ship's metals. However, the duo quickly realizes that they need to find the Burnish themselves. However, they leave barely a scratch as the duo attack the tower before them. Immediately after he announces its new name, shots are once again fired. Here, Galo decides to rename it to Lio de Galon. Inside, Lio questions Galo on his piloting skills who replies that he finds the machine to be "uncool." Lio decides to take his word and revamps the mech's appearance. As they hit, it falls onto the Parnassus' surface. Kray and Biar command for it to be shot done. He attempts to ease him by claiming he should "uphold his Burnish pride." Lio agrees as they fly to where Kray's tower is.Īt the tower, Kray is notified of an unidentified flying object. He claims he would of done nothing and accepted the world's fate.īack in the mech, Galo notes that Lio is more tense and conflicted from Deus' information. As they leave, Aina questions Deus on what he would of done had they not found him. When he finishes, he commands Galo and Lio to control Deus X Machina and stop Kray. ![]() When Galo, Lio, and Aina discover Deus' lab, he invites them inside and explains his findings to the trio. Using his research on the promatech engine, he incorporated both Burnish and non-Burnish mechanisms to allow for teamwork. He would later continue said plans post-mortem whilst observing Promepolis. History Before Promare īefore Deus' death at the hands of Kray, Deus began plans for a super weapon capable of defeating him. It's size is enormous, being one fourth the size of Earth. In close-ups of the pilots, the duo occasionally seem to be fused together. This particular mech, rather than being of metal or hard materials, appears to be made solely of Burnish flames with Galo and Lio in Deus X Machina as the base. The new name given to the Deus X Machina during Lio and Galos' plan to "burn the planet to ashes." It is of a pure teal-white minus sequences of blue and pink, both colors representing Galo and Lio respectively. Four separate horns are featured amongst the plating. Pink and blue segments can be seen representing the pilots. This version features hands and horns as well as black armor similar to Mad Burnish's. The Lio de Galon is an altered form of the Deus X Machina, created by Lio to appease Galo's desire for a "cooler" looking mech. Unlike it's later upgrades, it does not feature hands. A vast array of buttons and levers can be found. Below the pod is a station for the other pilot. When powered by said pilot, their flames can be seen filling the inside. At the mecha's head is a pod for the Burnish co-pilot. Deus X Machina's original appearance features white and red metal adorned with orange-tinted glass. ![]()
